+ C.O. Robinson Scholarship

Mr. Charles Robinson’s Scholarship is available to any graduating senior whose parent is a maintenance employee of the Borough of Waynesboro.

+ Ethan Barnhart Scholarship

Ethan Barnhart was a senior at Waynesboro Area School District who

+ Waynesboro Beneficial Fund Scholarship

Each year the WBFA Scholarship Committee awards scholarships to graduating Waynesboro seniors. The amount is approved yearly by the WBFA board of directors and ranges from a $1,000 and up.

+ WBFA General Fund

A donation to the Waynesboro Beneficial General Fund will be used toward projects and activities for the betterment of the Greater Waynesboro Community.

+ Caroline Shriver Snively Trust Fund

Samuel S. Snively, a resident of Franklin County, set up a fund in memory of his wife Caroline Shriver Snively. The net income of the fund will be distributed semi-annually to the Waynesboro Hospital to be used for maintenance of its buildings and equipment.

+ John D. Benedict Music Fund

John Downey Benedict was killed by military action in France on August 25, 1944. He bequeathed a portion of his estate to the Waynesboro Beneficial Fund Association (WBFA) to be invested, using the investment proceeds for musical concerts in Waynesboro as well as other music and concert related activities.

+ Annie Cobble Fund

The Annie Cobble Fund was established to benefit the Waynesboro Hospital and the Alexander Hamilton Memorial Library.

+ Ida R. Gray

Ida Gray’s bequeath designates proceeds to be used for playground equipment in Waynesboro and vicinity.

+ S.D. Hockman Fund

The Samuel D. Hockman fund was established to support three local non-profits – Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and the United Way.

+ St. Mary’s Discretionary

An anonymous donor set up the St. Mary’s Discretionary Fund to benefit others outside the normal Parrish and/or the diocesan budget of the St. Mary’s Protestant Episcopal church and the Diocese of Central PA.
